Deb Singh is our consultant Diabetes Educator, offering sessions at our Strathpine GP Superclinic. With over 20 years experience in nursing, she is passionate in her aim to help improve the lives of people currently diagnosed with Diabetes.

She also assists families and carers along with those at risk of developing diabetes in the future.

Deb shares the knowledge, skills, motivation and confidence needed to manage diabetes and make informed decisions about diabetes care and treatment.

Diabetes Educators provide support for people with diabetes and help them to live a normal, active lifestyle, reducing their risks of developing long term diabetes complications.

Patients develop skills to keep their blood sugars within normal range, managing their diabetes through blood sugar monitoring, medication and lifestyle improvements such as daily physical activity and good nutrition.

Adrian has been a registered Psychologist for 20 years and has worked across a variety of public and private sector organisations. He has operated as an Organisational Psychologist, a Researcher, and a Counselling Psychologist. Clients have ranged from executive level management, to disadvantaged job seekers, to private practice clients.

Adrian’s approach to therapy is practical and down to earth. He uses methods and techniques, shown by research to be effective. He believes in partnering with his clients to assist them to achieve the highest levels of emotional health, mental well-being, and happiness possible.

Adrian has operated in private practice counselling clients with a broad range of concerns. These include anxiety, depression, stress, family and relationship issues, bereavement, aging, substance issues, addictions, and anger management. The full spectrum of unhelpful thoughts and behaviours.

Adrian provides a safe, understanding and non-judgmental environment in which clients can express their concerns and really be heard. He assists clients identify their goals, and then he and his client work to achieve those outcomes. He uses an integrative approach, utilising whatever techniques that will best assist the client. To achieve this he leans most heavily on cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy.

4Cyte Pathology is located within Strathpine GP Superclinic. They provide a fully bulk billed service to those pathology tests that are covered by Medicare rebates.

Our rooms are open from 7.00am – 5.00pm on Monday to Friday and 7.00am-11:00am on Saturday and Sunday
